Daytek Electronics Corporation, subsidiary of Daewoo International in Korea, has launched 2 PCs in Canada
with basic configuration using AMD and INTEL family of CPU.
The computer systems, under Daewoo brand, will be fully configured with the latest components and sharpest
cost structure by the channel partner; Powernode Computer Inc. "This is the second phase of offering Daewoo
PC in the Canadian market," stated Daytek General Manager Sam Chiu, "We first launched the product 4 years ago to retail channels.
As we are now being recognized in that sector of the market, it makes us ready to cover more market segments."
"We are going to the next level by supplying higher end, performance driven machines to VARs and resellers," said Chiu,
adding that "Powernode Computer will be our best channel partner to achieve this goal. Headquartered in Toronto with facilities
in Montreal and in Vancouver will allow them to service and
support our products across the nation."

Daytek Electronics Corporation, subsidiary of Daewoo International in Korea,
has offices in Vancouver and Toronto. It
was established in 1993 offering sales, marketing, support and services for Daewoo and Daytek brand of products in Canada. Powernode Computer Inc., since started in 1996, had established as a prime distributor of computer and related products in the Canadian market.
