Warranty Service for Daewoo International Displays
Daewoo International provides market leading, top-notch service and support for its customers. For Daewoo International Display products' service and support in Canada, customer can contact the monitor support
line at 1-866-663-6667. Customers should have the model#, Serial# and original proof-of-purchase ready.
Defective within the first 30 days of purchase
Daewoo International provides for the customer to receive a new product as replacement for the defective monitor
within the first 30 days of purchase provided that the product is considered "current" and units are available.
Warranty Replacement for Display products
For a defective unit after the first 30 days of purchase, the customer is required to
contact Daewoo International authorized service location. It is also the responsibility of the customer to properly
package the product and ship it to the address provided by the technical service & support representative. Daewoo
International is not responsible for any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse or acts of God.
The replacement unit will be sent out normally within 24 hours, excluding the necessary shipping time. The
replacement unit will take on the remainder of the original product's warranty or 90 days whichever is greater.
Advance Replacement
with refurbished display is available at your choice. Please contact our support
representative for procedure in detail.
CRT Monitor - 3 year Limited Warranty
CRT monitor is furnished against all defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from
the date of invoice issued by an authorized Daewoo International dealer,
an Authorized value-added retailer or an Authorized distributor.
LCD Monitor - 3 year Limited Warranty
LCD monitor is furnished against all defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from
the date of invoice issued by an authorized Daewoo International dealer,
an Authorized value-added retailer or an Authorized distributor (Panel is limited to one (1) year only).
The presence of the blind pixels will not affect the quality of the display, nor will it affect the lifetime of the LCD panel. Blind pixel is
defined as pixel either in black, red, green or blue color. The acceptance criteria for LCD panel monitor will be no more than 8 blind pixels in the LCD panel.

In order to save shipping charge for the customers' on-hand defective unit, Daewoo International has established
special shipping rates with selected courier

Warranty Service for Daewoo International PC [Canada Only]
Daewoo International warrants "Daewoo Personal Computer System", to the original purchaser in Canada only,
the hardware is furnished against all defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from date of invoice from an authorized
Daewoo International dealer, an authorized value-added retailer or an authorized Daewoo International distributor.
The warranty does not cover damage due to external causes
including accident, abuse, misuse, act of god, problem with electrical power, servicing not authorized by Daewoo International, usage not in
accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance and problems caused by use of parts and components
not specified by Daewoo International.
The warranty does not cover any items that are in one or more of the following categories: software; external devices (except as specifically noted);
accessories or parts added to Daewoo International system after the system is shipped from Daewoo International; accessories or parts added to a
Daewoo International system through authorized Daewoo International service center; accessories or parts that are not installed in the Daewoo
International factory.
Daewoo International will repair or replace products covered under this limited warranty. To request warranty service you must be within warranty period
call Daewoo International's Customer Technical Support, the telephone number provided to you by Daewoo International. Please keep your original receipt
as a proof of your purchase.
If warranty service is required, Daewoo International or its service center will issue a Return Material Authorization Number. You must ship the products back
to Daewoo International or the authorized service center with original receipt. Before you send the products back to Daewoo International or the authorized
service center, please make a copy of original receipt for future reference. Customers who fail to ship systems with original receipt will be void for service.
Also you must ship the products back to Daewoo International or the authorized service center in their original packaging. Customers who fail to ship systems
in their original or equivalent packaging will be responsible for risk of loss or damage during shipment.
If it is found that non-Daewoo options added to the system is the cause of the reported problem, a service charge may be applied which may include shipping
charges. Please remember that Daewoo International reserve the right to send a whole replacement for the system or a replacement for portions of the system rather
than repairing and returning the system that was sent for repair.
Note: Before Daewoo International repair the products, it is your responsibility to back up the data and software on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other
storage device(s) in the product(s) and to removable media, such as diskettes, CDs or PC Cards. It is also your responsibility to reload data and software.
Daewoo International is not responsible for lost data or software and is not required to advise or remind you of appropriate backup, security or other procedures.
Daewoo International will not accept any liability. Daewoo International will not be liable for lost profits, loss of business or other loss or damage relating
in any way to products or services, whether direct or consequential, special, indirect or punitive, even if advised or possibility of such losses or damages,
or for any claim by any third party.
Daewoo International owns all parts removed from repaired products. Daewoo International uses new parts made by various manufactures in
performing warranty repairs. If Daewoo International repairs or replaces a product, its warranty term is not extended.
The provisions of this apply to Daewoo International's limited one (1) year warranty only. Daewoo International reserves the right to amend any of its terms and
conditions relating to warranties or service or its products at any time without prior notice.
THERE IS NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS BEYOND THOSE EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. SOME RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS APPLY.

Out-of-warranty Service
Daewoo International Display provides services for its products, even after the standard warranty expires. In the event that a product fails outside of the warranty period, contact 1-866-663-6667 and support representative
will provide you with the billable repair options available to you.
